# Introduction

The Aetos framework is an opensource and EVM compatible decentralized application (dApp) allowing likeminded individuals to easily deploy a trustless investment DAO.

Processes are handled in a democratic and decentralized manner and most configuration variables can be edited to suit the requirements of each DAO.
